Over the years I have drifted away from clay and gravitated toward glass. The transition was an easy one in that both media use similar elements (such as silica, kilns/extreme heat and functionality). I find that I am attracted to the interplay of glass and light, to the sparkling and translucent qualities of glass, along with its ability to be manipulated in so many ways.
