Hairy Potter, intaglio etching COAE013

My model for the drawing for this etching was a pottery instructor at his wheel at the Dunedin Fine Arts Center. The fellow had long hair, but I don't think it interfered with his work. Later I learned that he used horsehair in the firing of porcelain to achieve a linear design in the glaze. I bet he learned that at Hogwarts.
